34. Facebook Tagging

Tagging is making a post also appear on a friends timeline. You can tag your friends in your post as well as they can tag you in their posts.
You can set who can tag you in their posts. You can set no tagging or review before it appears on your page.
When you tag someone in a photo, that person and all of their friends will be able to see the photo addition to the audience you select. If you don’t want friends of the person you tagged to see the photo, log into Facebook on a computer, go to the photo and open the audience menu.Choose Custom and unselect Friends of Tagged.
If you are tagged in a photo and don’t want to be, go to the photo and open the menu at the bottom and Choose Remove Tag.

The photo can still be on your friends Timeline and albums that their friends may see.

If you don’t want a  photo of you to be on Facebook anymore, go to the photo, open the menu at the bottom and choose I don’t like this photo. Next choose I’m in this photo and I don’t like it and indicate a reason why. Then send a message asking the person who posted the photo to take it down. This is the best way to get a photo removed.
